Latin American Multicultural Group

Brief: L.A.M.G is a non-profit organisation based in Southwark. It was set up in 2006 to provide learning and participation opportunities for young people and their families from marginalised groups, with a particular focus on the Latin American Community. The brief was to create a brand identity from scratch that would represent the client's community spirit.

Outcome: The client demanded to set customised branding for L.A.M.G. and their football team La Liga. The outcomes include posters to advertise both, logotypes, icons and a website. Since La Liga is a set of various football teams for women, it was decided that their main mascot would be a bear. The idea came from the expression "Mama Bear" and is a representation of a strong and caring woman. As for the L.A.M.G. logotypes, it was decided one that could represent a community as one.

The colour palette was decided to be made of strong colours inspired by their home which offers hot and tropical weather.
